The C.C. Baird Investigation and Trial – LCA went undercover to investigate the nation's largest and most notorious Class “B” dealer, C.C. Baird. The result was the largest multi-agency (federal, state and local) investigation of animal abuse in U.S. history.
	“Pete’s Field Notes” – read the previously unreleased field notes from LCA undercover investigator “Pete” when he infiltrated C.C. Baird’s kennel.
	HBO’s Award Winning Documentary “Dealing Dogs” – HBO’s documentary into LCA’s undercover investigation into pet theft is an excellent educational tool. It follows our investigator as he infiltrates C.C. Baird’s kennel and documents the horrors he found. "Dealing Dogs" won a Genesis Award in 2007 for Best Cable Documentary.
	The Pet Safety and Protection Act, AKA "Buck's Bill" – You can help save companion animals from medical research! "Buck's Bill" will prohibit USDA licensed Class "B" dealers from supplying cats and dogs to research facilities. Read on for information about how thousands of animals, like Buck, will be saved from abuse and torture at the hands of Class "B" dealers.
	Pet Theft Awareness Day – Every year on February 14th – Valentine’s Day – LCA launches a national education campaign aimed at keeping companion animals safe! Join us!
	Pound Seizure – Did you know some pounds sell dogs and cats to Class “B” dealers or directly to research facilities? Find out if pound seizure is practiced in your state and what you can do to stop it!

	Elephants in Captivity – Elephants are not thriving in captivity. The small enclosures, hard surfaces and abusive training methods are literally killing them before our eyes. LCA’s national campaign educates the public about the needs of elephants and enacts change to end the suffering of elephants in captivity.
	The Los Angeles Zoo – The elephant campaign is centered on the Los Angeles Zoo. Our goal is to relocate the elephants to sanctuaries and permanently close the exhibit at the zoo so no more elephants have to suffer and die.

	Puppy Mills – Breed, Greed and Misery – Approximately 500,000 puppies per year are bred in puppy mills, facilities known for their filthy, overcrowded conditions and the unhealthy animals they produce.
	Puppy Mill Awareness Day - Puppy Mill Awareness protest events originated in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania -- known as "The Puppy Mill Capital of the East Coast" -- and have spread around the country as activists and animal lovers gather to raise awareness and end this cruel business. Find out if there is a Puppy Mill Awareness Event in your city, or join forces with LCA to organize a local event.
	Pet Shop Project - LCA is working towards a day in making Los Angeles a no kill city, where pet stores no longer support puppy mills and breeders, but shelter animals and rescue groups.
	The Dog Whisperer - Cesar Millan teams up with LCA to rescue and rehabilitate dogs from puppy mills.
	Boycott PA Produce – The main focus of the puppy mill campaign is centered on the situation in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the “Puppy Mill Capital of the East Coast.” Lancaster breeding facilities house almost twice as many dogs as the national average and it has been discovered that many millers use dead dogs as field compost in the produce fields.

	Fur-Free Friday – Pain and suffering are the ingredients for every fur coat and fur product. LCA’s fur campaign aims at encouraging consumers to kick the fur habit through our annual protest the day after Thanksgiving.
	Chinese Dog and Cat Fur Trade - Millions of dogs and cats in China are bludgeoned, strangled with wire nooses and literally bled to death, just so their fur can be turned into trim and trinkets. Find out what you can do stop it.

The AETA – The Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) defines as “terrorism” causing any business classified as an "animal enterprise" to suffer a profit loss and is punishable by a long prison sentence -- even if the company's financial decline is caused by peaceful protests, boycotts, media campaigns or leafleting. Premarin and Horse Abuse – LCA’s Special Investigations Unit went undercover to expose the abuse of horses in the production of the hormone replacement therapy drugs Premarin (Pregnant Mare's Urine) and the Premarin family of products (Prempro, Prempak-C and Premphase), made by Wyeth Ayerst. Save the Mountain Gorillas – The mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest are in peril. Every year, LCA has a special fundraising drive to provide specialized equipment to aid the forest rangers who work to protect the gorillas.

	Dog Fighting  – Dog fighting involves placing two trained dogs in a pit to attack each other until one can no long continue. Dogs used often die from blood loss, shock, dehydration, exhaustion or infection.
	Cockfighting  – LCA’s Special Investigations Unit went undercover to expose the underground world of cockfighting. In this illegal, brutal exhibition fighting roosters, known as “gamecocks” are placed in a small enclosed space to fight until one or both of the birds die.
	Bull Fighting  – Bull fighting is a traditional Latin American spectacle in which bulls bred to fight are tortured by armed men on horseback, then killed by a matador. Starved, beaten, isolated, and drugged before the “fight,” the bull is so debilitated that he cannot defend himself. After being stabbed, speared, and harpooned, the suffering animal is killed.

	Animal News Van – LCA’s Animal News Van is equipped with video screens on each side for maximum impact! Prowling the streets of Los Angeles, the van educates citizens about various animal rights issues.
