In Memory of Joyce Silverstein: December 20, 1946 - July 28, 2020

"Joyce Silverstein was clearly 'a voice for the animals'. She was an amazing photographer as well as a consummate advocate for the rights and welfare of all animals.  Her gentle demeanor and her endlessly gentle approtach to expressing her support for what was best for the animals was the way she would reach you.  She was kind, compassionate, unassuming, and cared so much for animals and humans alike. That was Joyce. I have very fond memories of her photographing at the 'red carpet' events. She would stop taking pictures to find out something about an animal issue that was pending.  I consider Joyce one of the gentlest and kindest people I have ever met.  Her passing was such a loss to this planet and it's inhabitants.  She will be missed but not forgotten!
