Last Chance for Animals (LCA), is an international nonprofit organization with a 35+ year history of fighting animal cruelty. As part of the LCA team, you will help educate the public on some of the world’s cruelest industries that exploit animals and help make real changes for animals.

Campaigns Manager

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide leadership and vision to develop, implement and manage campaigns
  • Liaison with public relations, other organizations, politicians, etc.
  • Acquire detailed knowledge and history of organization
  • Supervise social media and video production for campaigns
  • Impeccable, resourceful research and rational thought process
  • Work closely with all departments and other entities to constantly maximize goals of organization
  • Responsible for website content and updates on a timely basis
  • Oversee campaigns department, volunteers and interns

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree
  • Proven track record of running successful campaigns
  • Knowledge of animal rights issues
  • Creativity and perseverance
  • Personable, a team-player and skilled at getting along well with others
  • Personal integrity, discretion and intuitive judgement
  • Self-starter able to complete tasks with strong organization and computer skills
  • Flexible to project needs requiring night and weekend work and travel if needed
  • Must be able to multi-task in a demanding environment and not lose your cool under pressure
  • Fast learner wiling to acquire skills needed
  • Experience with Joomla, WordPress, Photoshop and MailChimp
  • Legal background a plus
  • Knowledge of legislative process

Campaigns Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in all phases of developing creative campaign strategies
  • Create graphics for e-mail alerts, brochures, website, etc
  • Liaison with representatives of other organizations, community leaders, politicians, etc.
  • Supervise campaign assistants, interns and volunteers
  • Coordinate national and local events, tabling and demonstrations
  • Conduct and analyze research on animal rights issues, laws & legislation
  • Work on special projects assigned
  • Occasional weekends and evenings required

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and commitment to animal rights issues
  • Experience with graphic design software - Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • Knowledge of video editing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative thinking and analytical skills
  • Proven self-starter able to work under tight deadlines
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer and research skills
